Where did you purchase the Recaro seats? They look like Singer seats.

Might be my favorite of the bunch. So subtle and classy. You guys are the elite of the elite - I don't think anyone but Singer even comes close to this level of quality.

So sorry to hear! My condolences ... he was a beautiful character ... and my knowledge of him was only based on your joyous photos on F-Chat.

Best wishes for Zeke to enjoy a long and happy life.

GG --- You beat me to it...Still might be the nicest trio I've ever seen...And...It will be worth more than it brings...An almost 90 large engine...An almost 2 large steering wheel (The only proper one for an RS/RSR...)...Only the best parts, and absolutely the best metalwork and paint, ever -- period...I already hate whoever owns any of them...

And yet the fuel lines seem to come from the MFI pump. How in the heck does that work?

Clever work from Rothsport.
The MFI fuel pump is hollow inside such that anything else might fit inside.
Use your imagination from there....

They're basically using the MFI pump as a fuel distribution block, from what I can tell. The lines you mention terminate at normal efi injectors. I think they also hid the TPS inside the compensation section of the pump.

It's a pretty neat setup, but for such a raw/racy machine I honestly think they'd have been further ahead going with a true MFI system for period correctness and badass factor.

I'm a bit biased, I guess

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. I don't like fake: if they had managed to repurpose and use the oem pump that would be cool. But they could build an awesome engine with MFI - and as you say, correct, raw and badass.

Ps Love the sticker - did you have it made?

This engine is miles ahead in reliability, fuel savings and drivability over MFI...and making similar if not more power. Sure, old school MFI is cool, but it's tough to beat modern technology.

You have to ask yourself how many modern cars or race cars use MFI? There...you just answered your question.
