O'reillys, they can mix you small amounts, tell them to mix it thin and use an artist brush to apply.

The Dr Colorchip touch up products are great. They can provide all the Porsche paints by
color code and have a very novel way of application. Best touch up product I've ever used.

I have used Automotive Touchup and Dr Colorchip. Dr Colorchip is great for small areas and bumper rash. Automotive Touchup is better for larger areas.

I go to my local Automotive Paint jobber and have them make me a pint of the color I need (last time it cost about $25). My guy does PPG products and I have been using their OMNI MTK Enamel (with hardener) for my single stage paint on my 911 and VW Bus.

UMMM... Porsche... color code 741 or 041. Or order right through Pelican.
Probably cost ya' $25 bucks...

I am a professional and I use the factory touch up sticks most often. It's solvent based "lacquer". Add a splash of lacquer thiner and shake it well. Use a small artists brush or a toothpick to apply.

Layer over several days for larger chips and then color sand flat with a hard block and 2000 grit. Follow up by polishing.

You can also source Duplicolor "Black" touch up sticks at most FLAPS. It matches fine.

If you really need to cover a bigger area you might search out a local paint supplier and buy a 1/2 pint of single stage black (741) acrylic urethane. You'll need the color, activator, and reducer (thiner). Likely cost $75-$125.

Take your time with the touch up! If it's a big chip, layer it. Be pacient and let it dry. Use a hard flat sanding block to level it!! Do NOT fold up the paper and hand sand it... Once it's flat, hand polish the area with a medium polish like 3M "rubbing compound" found in small bottles at your FLAPS.

You can also use the cream version of Blue Magic metal polish.

Good luck with the touch up.

I tried Pelican first but they only have red or that's the only one I have found, so I will try one of the others.

I've used ExpressPaint.com. They sell a two way touch up pen, one side color and the other side the clear coat. Works well for little touch ups like the door edge that I'm constantly banging into the garage wall and scraping the paint off of. I've also purchased their 11oz aerosol cans. Just know your car's color code. I think this is a spin off of Color Rite, as Color Rite appears to now only sell motorcycle paint.
