Whah so Bosch silver coil has a 100% failure rate. At least they got that right. Don't bother. Bosch could not care less. What you could do is the following: Take the silver coil. Go to a Bosch office near you. Throw it at the first employee that wears a Bosch badge. Success guarantueed. Post on Youtube.

I have heard good things about them, but those who have one are running it off your product. Cheers, Kris |

So gentlemen I know it has been some time, but I have finally been back in Australia and able to take my car to my preferred mechanic. The issue was quickly resolved - The CDI box was the culprit. Annoyingly as I sent the box the Pelican Parts to be fixed, it evidently had a dry joint in one of the soldered wires which either occurred during the repair or was missed. Like most I dismissed the idea that a rebuilt component could still have a fault. Lesson learnt This issue would only surface once engine bay heat soak in Australian temperature conditions set in. To confirm the fuel injection system has no vacuum leaks. The remedy for the situation was to put an MSD ignition system in. Gentlemen thank you for your input into this issue. It really does demonstrate the strength of forums such as this.
