How do I get datalogs to send to Steve Wong?

I have a custom chip from Steve and need to send him some logged data so he can tune the chip specifically for my car.
I'm not sure his OTS chip is ideal for what I am running (whether due to climate, fuel, or both).
Can someone help me on how to do this? Is there some secret USB connection in this 30 year old car that I can plug my laptop into? (that was a joke..)

Thanks All!

what proporsche said, for sure call to discuss with Steve

-- believe that he's looking for the log that would be generated by a dyno shop after a run on a dyno -- which would show air-fuel ratios and power output over the engine's performance range and give him something to more closely dial in (keep constant) on a custom chip

yes... I understand I can run my car on a dyno. My question is more in HOW is data collected on a car that has no interface in which to connect measurement tools to??

Is it just a calculation based on the TQ and HP? Or is there an actual method of measure AFR? Is there some kind of device that plugs into the DME, etc....?

Either get the dyno run data from the shop and email to SW or get a printout of the dyno chart (must have AFR readout) and send that to SW.

Option 2 is get data logging equipment. This is completely standalone from the Motronic.

Yes, there is a method to measure AFR with an O2 sensor stuck up your tail pipe - ha ha . . .
The Dyno collects Torque data and produces data in RPM increments - you should ask Steve
what RPM increments he needs to program your new DME chip best.
Edit: The data can be put on a flash drive and send to Steve - is you print out he just has to hand
input the data to the computer - digital is better - BUT ask him first . . .

Regards,

Pic of Steve at work - - great guy . . . but always super busy . . .

All that's needed is the WoT, A/F ratio correlated to rpm.

Innovative has several products that do just that. You need an rpm connection to the engine and a wide band A/F sensor to stick in the exhaust. The logger collects the correlated data.

Or take a trip to a dyno

I took my 911 to a dyno shop here in town. It is owned by the guy Chuck from Street Outlaws. He did the tie down and ran the dyno. I brought a thumb drive and Chuck gave me a copy of the data file. Well, it was included with the price of the dyno run. He did print out a sheet for my records. I emailed the data file to Steve.

The SW Chips are specific to the fuel octane number also.
If you provide dyno run data, provide the octane# used.
He wants you to verify your WOT switch is working first also.

BTW, I'm to chicken to pedal my car on the dyno.
