I was looking at a local 911 and the owner said he had a bore scope done on the car at the Porsche dealer and all the pic's looked great but he never sent me the pic's.
I was wondering if anybody has had this done and if they have pic's of good or bad cylinders and if you thought it was a valuable thing to add to a PPI. Thanks Finn

Certainly can't hurt to ask when arranging a PPI. The plugs are out anyway for compression and leak down tests. Small USB scopes are getting less expensive every day...

If you are looking for any valve smacks, it would not hurt but the compression test will reveal too much carbon build up and the leak down will reveal any major issues.
