engine case question

sending a case to get machined.
there are 2 bushings in the case.
I dont want to damage anything but is there a method to remove them?

Hi ,what are you going to machine the case for??usually you do not need to remove them

I forget how I did it, but it wasn't difficult. I suspect I used some padded pliers and twisted while pulling.

machining and bushings

proporsche the magnesium cases are notoriously unstable, when the halves are split they become distorted and require machining to return them to tolerable specifications
