930 first valave adj - Torque question
Hi,
I have been doing my first valve adj on my 930. Been a lot of fun. I am now trying to torque the valve covers. I was able to do the top covers except for drivers side rear nut because there was a tube on the way of getting the torque wrench on. I suppose I could of bent it in a way that the wrench would fit and the hose would still be functional, but since it was the top cover and all of the torqued nuts were around 3 threads ahowing I did it by feel with a box wrencg and it looked about the same as the rest. Now we get to the bottom covers. There is NO way I can see to get a socket and torque wrench on the bottom nuts without removing the heat exchangers? Am I doinf something wrong? Do I need to remove the heat exchangers to adjust the valves and troque the covers?? Thx for the help! larry |

Just tighten the nuts you don't have to torque them. Just don't overtorque
