In need of help on Bosch part number
I removed my failed blower motor that cools the front AC condenser in my 73.5T. Needless to say, the squirel fan was a real b#$@ch to get off the motor shaft.
The small Bosch electric motor has a serial number: 0130007002 and when I called the local Porsche dealer and several parts places including Pelican, no one could advise on a replacement. Apparently this motor is no longer is manufactured. Has anyone ever delt with this motor and replaced it with an updated unit? I would appreciate any assistance. Regards Bob |

Bob,
There may be some info about this in the archives. About a month ago I got a lead that Vertex has this motor and that it is the same one used for the interior ventilation fan on 911's. Here's a link to their listing for it, which does have the same part # you have: http://www.**********.com/item.wws?sku=0130007002 I haven't replaced mine yet (but need to), so everything I know about this is hearsay...hope this helps.

That's a tough one. You may have to go to a Motor repair place and see if they can order one for you. Consumer channels will most likely come up dry.
You may also consider McMaster-Carr, Grainger or MSC. Let me know what you come up with.. Also, are there any specs on the motor? Pic?

Evaporator blower motor or condenser blower motor? I can look up the Porsche part numbers if that's what you need. Jim

Jim..
Its the condenser blower motor. Squirrel cage loks about 4 inches in diameter and black metal housing is relatively small as well. I believe this little bugger is responsible for shorts and fires in the trunk. I will have to protect the new one with an in-line fuse, so I need to know how many amps it puts out. Thanks Bob |
