Calling all tool kit experts
I've been replating early tools for a while now using a special process and clear cadmium. Many tools were done in clear zinc which has too much of a blue tint these days. The cadmium is too silver as compared to original but most think it looks better than blue.
Other tools were clearly chrome plated and I think others may have been nickel plated. Does anyone have an authoritative breakdown on exactly which tools were originally zinc, chrome and nickel plated? ![]()

Haven't checked to see if you've posted this over on earlyS but Allen Henderson over there is very knowledgeable on tool kits.
