Power Windows No Power at Fuse#1

I am hoping that some kind soul will help me understand where the power comes from for fuse #1 in the luggage compartment.
When my Power windows dont work there is no power at this fuse posistion #1 at all, even when touching the wire directly.
There are 2 wires at this posistion, Black on upper, and red/blue stipe at the bottom.
When the windows dont work this wire has no voltage. Is this fuse position fed by the ignition switch or the Power Window Control Relay 944-615-116-00.

With Key in on posistion I acn hear the Power Windows Control replay clicking when removing and reinstalling.
This problem is intermittent, when they work, they all work as they should.

So Sorry at multiple attempts to post this question

PLEASE and THANK YOU for any help

Kew... we're all newbs here at one point in time so no worries. Something of import when seeking assistance in PPF is year and type car you have. Putting that info in your signature is the way to go.

Am posting diagrams created by Bill James and modified by Mooney and 16Volt. Notice there's a window relay in the '79 and not in '86. (We are trusting these guys know their system inside and out to make these diagrams.) Am not a 911 electrogenius so will not pretend to know answer here. Am posting diagrams to instigate dialogue.

Am suggesting this is '79 930.

Suggesting this is '86 930.

To read small text is best to copy image out of PPF to look at. Surly there are more panel diagrams to be found and even entire electrical plans to help sort out your challenge. Year of car is essential to finding correct eletro-plan.

cskewis,

The answer to your question is in the other threads you posted in. Specifically, post 13 on this thread shows the current path:

1986 911 Power windows and sunroof stopped working

Power for the Power Window Control Unit (PWCU) comes from the ignition switch in the ACC and RUN position through a bulkhead connector to the Unit. Main power from the 30 bus (always energized buss located on the top of the fuse block between fuses 4 and 5 from the left a red/black wire) also goes to the PWCU and is the main power supply for the power window motors. That power comes back out of the PWCU as that black wire to the top of the fuse.

So you need to check for voltage into the PWCU position 7 with key in ACC and RUN position, check for voltage into the PWCU position 2 at all times, and check for voltage out of the PWCU at position 14 when operating the window with key in ACC or RUN. A faulty PWCU can cause your problem.
