Cat bypass for a 993 Exhaust system
All the threads on the 3.6 exhaust have been great! But I have not seen anyone post anything on using a complete 993 exhaust system in a early car 3.6 conversion. Has anyone tried that yet? I have a 1972 911 with RSR quarter panel flares so the oil tank is out of the way to accommdate the 993 muffler and I think the flares provide extra clearance. I'm looking for a relatively quiet but effective set up for the exhaust and I want to apply the p-car 993 RSR muffler modifications. Any thoughts on this approach? Also, who makes a cat bypass for these 993 exhaust systems?
thanks, Felmir 1972 3.6 RSR Replicar (work-in-progress) |

Sounds like it would work fine. You still need to provide anchoring points.
