1970 911T and intro thread
 

Good morning troops,

My name is Rick and I'm located in Southern Ontario, Canada. This is 1970 911 that I know nothing about but will be starting the restoration :)

It had spent the last 34 years in a barn with serious engine issues. Not sure of the extent but we'll strip it down and figure it out.

Well we got the car pretty much stripped and started on the structural welding. ALL of the rust issues in this car were due to mice nesting in the cavities.

Some rust under the left torsion bar mount,

Some surface rust on the floor pans but overall it's real solid,

All the suspension parts were sand blasted and epoxied, going to install all new bushings,
