The data in the CD-type disc decodes easily into ASCII computer text as follows, using 8 bit binary:
*
"Beware the bearers of FALSE gifts & their BROKEN PROMISES. Much PAIN but still time. (Damaged Word). There is GOOD out there. We OPpose DECEPTION. Conduit CLOSING (BELL SOUND)”
*
The damaged word would appear to be intended as “BELIEVE”.

Eric,

Nice screenshots.....are they from Playstation 2 or PC?

well, you wont find any P-cars in Rallisport Challenge (too bad) but it does have the best graphics around...if you have the system to run it, that is.

happy driving!

My car is currently experiencing problems so I'm kinda bummed out as well...

(PS. this is 'not' OT, it is about Porsches.....)

Wow!! those are great graphic's! The ones on GTII are good the Digi cam do them no justice haha Yes it's on Playstation2.. the game is great fun.. ..( Rally games are great fun!!) .. I have just gotten hooked on this driving of the RUF cars from GTII.. i can beat almost all the cars but the Ruf understeers like crazy!! and I can't set it up right to make it stop.. and it burn the tires off as well so the endrance racing is tuff due to the much needed PIT STOP's! for new tires!!. hahaha but it's all I have right now in the way of a PORSCHE! the game is great fun but I want to drive my REAL one.. SC .. NOT RUF! hahahaha

Eric,

The Logitech wheel is the only way to go! The feedback is amazing. The rally sections almost beat the wheel out of your hands! I also have the WRC game for playstation 2 and it works with the wheel also. If you buy it get it at Best Buy and spend the extra $5.00 or $6.00 for the extended warranty. I have a "friend" who for the past couple years experienced "wheel failure" (through no abuse!-) right before his warranty expired and got a new one no questions asked.

Jeff

P.S. my real car is out of action also.

You HAVE to get the wheel Eric, it's amazing. The wheel was about $100. when it
first came out but I think that it's much less now.

Anyboy know what other games the wheel works with other than WRC, NFS hp2 ?
I think that there is one of the '02 F1 games that work but I'm not sure which one.

Eric,

It is a bit expensive. I think mine was around $85.00. However, when winter rolls around and you can put some serious hours on the playstation it's nice!

The best justification is to average the cost of the wheel over the hours of playing time! Ha Ha.

Jim,

I've seen the F1 game work with the wheel but I'm not sure which one it was either.

If you spend money for a wheel, might as well get the best one in the market, the Logitech MOMO Force, Leather steering wheel, aluminum pedals...etc
