Heater paper tubes

My '67 coupe is missing the paper tubes that connect the heat exchanger's to the heater boxes. I ordered two of the URO tubes (Pelican Part No. 930-211-622-01-M253) and they are the same diameter as the both the exchanger and heater box! Is there an inner sleeve I am missing or what?

Brian

Thanks for the great source. I am currently looking to replace mine. Does anyone have the correct diameter for a 71 911 and the total length to order to replace all tubes?

All the 911/930 up to the SC use 60mm ID hoses of varying lengths and colors: brown, black, tan

Best trick is to buy the longest hose 911 211 522 01 (1100mm) then cut it to length.

Its cheaper than buying all the shorter pre-cut sections.

Presuming the above is correct in that all the hoses are the same over the years, I dug up my old invoice from Aircraft Spruce - order this in your desired length:

05-30610 SCEET-10 DUCTING 2 1/2"

The opening on the heater boxes on my '67 are 60mm the same as the hose... shouldn't the hose be a bit larger to slide over the box, and allow a the clamp to secure it???

Hi Brian my experience has shown most heater parts have been around for some time and the tubes tend to get out of round over the years making getting the hoses on a challenge.
All the factory parts I've used are a tight fit but the hoses do fit. Check for distortions in the metal tube first.
