Tool Kit Part Numbers

Just looking at my tool kit and I think I am missing 2 items. When I looked it up in the PET catalog there are 2 pieces labeled as just Tool.

Part numbers are:

999.571.047.2
999.205.003.2

What I think I am missing is a tubular shaped one and a rod. Any idea of what the part numbers are for and if they are the part numbers I listed.

Also I have a non sunroof coupe so I know I don't have the emergency crank. Were the cranks ordered separately or just included on a sunroof option? Just curious on that one.

Here is a pic of my tool kit contents.

I don't think you're missing anything.

I believe the part numbers for "tool" are the pin wrench for holding the alt. pulley and the lug wrench for the alt. nut.

As for the missing tube and rod, I think those were only on '87+, used for emergancy operation of the door windows.

I think the sunroof tool was just loose in the glovebox from new, some dealers may have put them with the tool roll on PDI or delivery to customer.

Hi Terry what you are missing is this little tube which goes on the Allen wrench .The Allen is for removing (allen head) bolt on battery bracket. This works as a leverage tool .
Also you are missing gloves and flat tire bag.

The pipe wrench (i think 13+10mm) was in later models of 911.
Ivan

is this the pipe wrench you are referring to on left between the pliers, right ?

Thanks guys, yes the small rod for the cheater bar to the allen wrench is not in mine I'll need to source one, and the pipe wrench I guess was not included.

I don't have any gloves I see them here but a bit expensive if I remember. But I do have a Porsche fan belt, Porsche towel, the air pump with the typical broken clasps and a SKF Safety Triangle in a yellow plastic case.

Thanks again - Terry

The 10mm x 13mm pipe wrench(tube spanner) is for the AC compressor mounting plate bolts for the 84 on 3.2 Carrera.

I believe the part no. for the battery bolt allen key extension rod is 911 721 325 00.

Bluewing, my understanding is the part no.s you listed are the alternator pulley tools.
999.571.047.02: alternator pulley nut wrench.
999.205.003.02: alternator pulley holding tool.

If you want to be anal about your tool kit, don't forget the tag & clip that goes on the tow hook. Carbone currently make a very good replica of the tag & clip.

Thanks 81SC, yes I do have the tag and clip, I removed it thinking it would get crushed/scratched at some point.

999.205.003.02: alternator pulley holding tool - not sure of what this is

I'll soon be placing a WTB add for the few small items I'm looking for.
