More parts... will be installing a dual master cylinder set up.
![]() I fitted a custom set up (below) to my previous car. ![]() ![]() Have found the dual set up, and short / hard pedal to my liking (never really liked the vac assist) so that's not going back in and saves another pound!

Yeah, really pleased with the colour now it’s on the car...
![]() Transporting to shop today. After much research and discussions with suppliers and looking at previous builds, all the major parts are now assembled and ready. So it’s finally time for it all to start being fitted. About the only original parts I can think of that will be staying in the car will be the steering column, box and tie rods! Pretty much everything else has been upgraded, replaced or modified.

Hey Darien, who supplied the front oil cooler. Looks like a relatively simple but neat mounting method.

Hi Tim,
This cooler came with the car, i had a look today and no brand on it. Its fitted quite close the the front as has the oil cooler cut out behind for airflow, same as you did. I will be removing this one as it needs a flush (previous engine in this chassis spun a rod bearing and made a little metal) so I’m planning on getting a new, and maybe slightly bigger one for the 3.6. Eric from Pelican called into ProMotorsports to catch up on Friday.
The car is starting to take shape now and was able to look at the custom fabrication and suspension set up Tyson is creating using the 935 set up and MCS dampers. It was 112 (or 44’C) at Burbank so not a good day to be in a workshop fitting suspension and test fitting seat/pedal position etc. ![]() Tyson - Darien - Eric More pics to come....

It got worse after you left, Darien. It hit 117 F.
Getting in my black, non AC early 911 that had sat in the sun all day a nice way to finish the day. Surprised my hair didn’t catch on fire. I’ll post some pics as the assembly progresses. This is the fun part. (Finally!)

Yeah, that’s reallly hot (even by Australian standards).
We we’re delayed departing nearly 2hrs last night as it was still 87F (30’C) at midnight, and with San Fernando wind change we needed to swap runways for the A380 to take off. Landed just now back in Australia and it’s 51F (11’C). Once more flight to get home but was definitely worth the trip. Will post some pics later... need a coffee!

New bearings installed, widebodies with big rubber tends to give the bearings a hard time so replacing them all now.
Also fitted up the rear calipers to allow test routing of new brakes lines. With all the custom fab work Tyson needed to do more welding to reposition the brake line mounting tabs.

Had standard SC brakes when i bought the rolling chassis.
For not much more than upgrading to thicker carrera discs and calipers, was able to source this 996 rotor package from Clint @ Rebel. These are not too big to avoid excess rotating weight, and the newer calipers are relatively light compared to old steel ones. ![]() ...and fit nicely under the Jongbloed custom 17” wheels (the small wheel centres make the brakes look biggger then they are)
