Need help identifying of wiring sockets under the dash
I am having a bad week for blunders. I pulled my headlight switch out to track down a wire and, like the moron I am, disconnected two of the electrical plugs under the dash to gain access. Now I can't remember which one goes where. The two connectors are shown by the arrows. I think the headlight plug goes to the connector on the left, but I am not absolutely certain. Can anyone tell me for sure? The connector on the right does not appear to have copper sleeves in all the sockets so I am guessing that is not the headlight socket. The car is a stock 1972 911T. For reference, the hand brake is of course next to the door jam. Thanks in advance.

Steve... am wondering if those plugs are matched to a particular socket? (So there's no way to plug into wrong socket.)

Just plug it in and see if all works correctly if not exchange the plugs..very simple you can do no harm one is for your turn signal combo switch and the other is for your wipers switch..

Do you have the panel out in the Frunk? Can you see the wires on the other side and check colors to match them up?

As you only removed 2 plugs it should be easy.
One of the male plugs will only have 4 pins to match the 4 pin socket. The other one goes in the one with 6 pins.

Thanks for the suggestions. I decided to go with the recommendation of 1979-930 because I want to be certain they are in the correct slot. They are all different!
Actually, 5 of the 6 plugs have 6 pins. The odd one has 5.

steve ,you are making a big problem out of nothing, just plug it in and see if you turn signals are working if not plug it into the other female plug.Much easier then taking apart el. harness behind gauges in trunk...

Everything is plugged in and working fine. FWIW, it only took about 10 min to ID the wires and plugs.

Good time to clean the contacts on those plugs. When I first got my car it would occasionally die for no apparent reason. Later, I found that when my car died, I would reach under the dash and bang on those plugs. Would start right up.
Later on I cleaned all the prongs in the plugs. Still good after 20 years.

The contacts on the plugs under the dash looked pretty clean to me. But I cleaned up a few under the front hood a few months ago. It took more effort than I thought it would. I recall that the socket holes were too small to get a Q-tip into.
