Why wouldn't you wire it into the start circuit rather then the ignition (like you did with the stereo switch)? That way, even if you forget to open the switch after starting, the enrichment won't keep running after the starter has disengaged.

The button is only activated when pushed. I ran the button off of the stereo power wire because i wanted one that was only hot when the key was on and i only wanted to run one wire through the tunnel. I used a factory switch hole on the dash that had a plug in it, spliced a power wire that goes to the stereo, ran it to the button, and then on to the solenoid.
