Baum Valve Spring Load tool questions

I see pictures of them ...., the P10 , the P10B and the P10C....how do they work? Will any of the 3 work on a 912 cyl head? Any leads or info would be greatly appreciated ( I have searched)

The tool is for setting the exact valve spring "stack" or height rather than load or tension. For a 912 you need the P-10B

You insert the tool in place of the valve spring when doing you final steps in a valve job..the book as an exact spring height needed..you check the graduations on the side of the tool and add or remove shims from the base of the lower valve spring location to get the "stack" right where it needs to be. Do that and repeat on each valve location.
