912 driver's manual feature evolution

To date, I've collected 3 early 912 driver's manuals in an attempt to understand how the dash and engine features evolved.

I'm hoping to get other 912 owners to contribute to fill in the blanks and better understand how the features evolved based on the date of manufacture and the manual edition number.

Let me throw out my photos and see what the response is... I'd love to see these two photos from as many unique manual editions over the entire '65 to '69 production span as we can get.

Here's the photos from my earliest driver's manual, edition III/65:

Here's the same photos from the X/65 edition of the driver's manual:

NOTE: The engine photo didn't change from the prior one.

First of all, add 1 to the edition date to get the model year.

Just from these three samples it's interesting to see how the dash trim, horn ring, instruments, air cleaners and engine support bar evolved.

I humbly request 912 owners who are in possession of their driver's manual to take a close look at the pictures posted and see if they changed at all in their edition. If they didn't change, please post which edition of the manual they are the same in. If they did change, how about posting a scan of these two pages on this thread?

I think this information could be extremely helpful to other 912 restorers.

Thanks!
