Porsche Crest Help Needed Fast PLeAse (due to difficulty in shifting gears)!!!!!

I currently own a right-hand drive, 5-speed Porsche 912 (1969) . And i have a gear shifting difficulty. 1st gear is difficult to engage, Reverse gear lockout not working. Can engage Reverse without moving lever to the extreme top left hand. The Gearbox is fully reconditioned by Maestro. Gear Linkage has been adjusted as per workshop manual. Is it due to a Faulty Gear Lever Assembly?????

Do you have a complete set of the gear lever assembly ???

Thanks!! for your help. Please reply As Soon As Possible.

Have you made sure the linkage in the tunnel is set right? It almost sounds like it is off by a notch or 2.

It's your clutch,it needs replacing. You say you have trouble putting it into reverse and first gear.

If you only had trouble putting it into first gear, then it may be your tranny.

Take apart the shifter assembly. Something could be loose or broken
