022 dizzy

my distributer seems ok but just wanted
to get feed back......... if your 022 was perfect would you still upgrade to an 050
or is it only an upgrade you make if your 022 is bad?

I have an 022 distributor. This is the first time that I have seen anybody refer to one. Ususally all the talk is about the 050. I checked mine with a timing light and it advances well and the car runs fine. I don't plan on changing it. I'd try an 050 only if mine stopped working.

If your 022 is good, keep it! Its a great distributor and works real well with the 912 engine. I have an 050 because the PO put an 009 on it. However, our 356 has an 022 and the engine runs imaculate. So if it ain't broke.....don't fix it!
