Hello,
I have searched, but have not been able to find an article on 912 engine removal. Anyone have any tricks or tips? Thanks, Frank |

Try this link over at the 912bbs.org If it does not get what you need, then try a different search.
http://www.hillmanimages.com/912/engine_rebuild.html I typed in emgine removal and this is what came up. Try typing in "engine removal" in the search box, then hit "search." http://www.hillmanimages.com/912/results.php Good luck! Phil |

Phil:
In addition to the above links, Green912 posted a great method of 1-man engine removal some time ago. It really works well. Bill. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche-912-technical-forum/64180-engine.html#post421265 |

Here you go. Been a long time since I have checked in around here. I still have and track the 912 and have resisted installing the 2.7 I have in the shop. This winter the 4 banger gets a full rebuild that I hope will last another 6 track years.
Cheers and good luck on the motor pull! (EDIT) just saw the link and removed the redundant repost of old info. Last edited by Green 912; 10-28-2005 at 04:53 PM.. |
