Missing Solex Jet!

I've got a stock 68 with the original split shaft solex 40 PII. After rebuilding the carbs, including rebushing one of the shafts, the car has idled rough for a couple test drives. I found today fuel spitting out a hole in the outside of the #4 carb throat.

My #4 Idle Jet has vibrated out and is missing! It's one of the screws on either side of the float level adjustment. The remaing 3 out of 4 are labeled g55 SOLEX. Does anyone have one lying about? A used one would be better than none at all. Where can I get one in a hurry?

Starting this wednesday, this will be my only car. I'm desperate and the little foam ear plug I put in the hole now may be doing more harm than good. Can anyone help?

Scutty:
Read the PPBB reply to Solex Parts. Aparently Mikuni motorcycle jets will fit.

Good luck

I was able to get a few sources for the jet. Zims, Parts Obsolete, and a local restorer, John Wilberg of Dunkirk, NY, were all able to send me either a new or used idle jet. $10 - $15 plus shipping.

Now I just have to limp her around on 3 out of 4; waiting for the mail. Thanks for your help.
