Thumbs up Help Develop a 912 Registry Badge!

Based on previous comments received, Jeff Whitney has refined his design for a new 912 Registry badge (Note: the final product will have the word "Registry"). Please:
  • View the designs by clicking this link: http://www.912registry.org/graphics/jw912badges.jpg
  • If you haven't already, register as a member of the Pelican Tech Board (it will only take a minute or so). There's a button at the top of this page.
  • Vote for your favorite version: D4, D5 or D6
  • Add any suggestions and comments(i.e. what size and material do you recommend, etc.)

Well, it won't let me vote, but D4 is my choice.

What is the deal here? Is the Board based in Florida? Still not able to vote. I've received several emails from others with the same problem. Oh well, D4 is clearly winning.

I think the badge has great promise, although if it's not cost prohibitive, a touch of color would be great. I have a collection of badges, and I think the best one is from the Early 911S Registry, which has gold, red, black, and white. The most boring one is black and white. Of course, it makes sense to make the badge as close to possible to the logo, if there is one that's distinctive.

my vote for the badge

d4 & d5 for me....I'd like to have seen more color(s) choices? The "branches/ laurels?" a bit bolder or not at all? My niece thought
they were eyelashes. Otherwise nice designs!

Hurry, there's still time to vote!

Hurry, if you haven't voted already, pick your favorite 912 Registry badge and add suggestions.

Don't think of it as black & white, think of it as BLACK & CHROME! Sometimes the simplest design is also the most elegant.

Porsche Crest When?

Rick,
When can we buy a badge? The vote seems clear at this point.
Good work,

I'm getting impatient with the badges availability. Is pelican going to e-mail me when I can purchase one? I say come on lets get it on my fellow 912'ers, I want a badge. Blue69porsc@AOL.com

Thanks everybody for you patience. Because producing the badges takes a significant investment, we are linking it with the "next-generation" 912 Registry. You will be able to order badges from the 912 Registry in the near future. Watch for major upgrades to the organization as our new Board of Directors take office!

Happy Holidays,

Just keep us posted. Any details on the enhancements to the registry?

Thumbs up Start-Up Cost

Rick:
If it would help with the start up costs I would gladly prepay for a badge. I think a lot of us would be willing to send the money beforehand.

Thanks,
Ron

Rick,

Count me in that group that would pre-purchase their badge.

Look for an announcement around January 15th. Make sure that you are registered with the 912 Registry.

I've filled out the online form twice but still haven't appeared on the registered owners page. I did, however, get a pic posted! Does this mean I'm eligible for a badge or not?!?
