Thank you .... I used to restore back in the 70's and 80's. so I did not want to go on memory... I already did 50 on pulley so I'm about 14% over and 28 on plate so about 12% over ...so I'm relatively consistently wrong..... but I think it will be ok.... too late now...... what is the "orange book"? Is it for 356 and 9/12 data. Or a work shop manual. I was surprised to see in the books I have that only certain operations give the torque values.... mostly they just say assemble in reverse order..... thanks again bob

The "Orange book" is mostly reprints from the Factory 912 manual supplement (Service Guide for the 912 Engine). My old copy is published by Lash International with a 1991 copyright by Mel Kay.
![]() BTW I could not find the specs for the crank pulley in the 912 Factory manual or the 356B manual.

Thank you again.... Yes I have had the Original 9/11 shop manuals but I never got around to getting the 9/12 supplement. I have the 356 b work shop manual. Thanks for letting me know you could not find it there either..... I have been very suspicious of my eyes these days.. I will definetly find this "orange book .... and thanks for showing a picture of the book, That's a great help in finding the book. bob
