2 litre head rebuild

What do you do with 2.0 heads that are on their last oversize valve guide? Mine are worn, lots of smoke on deceleration. Do you weld up the bores and ream back to OEM?

That's one possibility. You can also get new 2.0 castings from AMC, though I have heard that the hardware on the castings is a bit substandard.

I have a set of new 2.0 heads and a new set of Mahle pistons and cyls 039 198 075 euro 94mm. Thanks, LARRY
