Oil filter bracket gasket
I'm looking for a gasket that goes between the engine block and the oil filter bracket. Its a thin, plastic-like gasket and I can't find it at either Pelican or GPR. Any thoughts? Is that something I might find at a local VW shop?

Have you tried calling PP? They usually have a lot of stuff not in the online catalog.

if all else fails, buy some gasket material at local auto parts store (FLAPS) and cut your own. use base as template

Buy some loctite 518 Anerobic gasket eliminator and install the bracket without the gasket...thats what we do, never had one leak yet, but ALL THE OIL MUST BE totally removed from the surface

That stuff works wonders......we even use it on oil pumps with no gasket!
