tach rebuild
I think my tack has had it. The darn thing wont budge, Even when I put direct wires to the terminals. Is there an article on how to rebuld? Can it be done?

I got three! (Shameless plug). Seriously, James is right. They are easy and cheap to find (see previous statement), unless you were interested in the actual project.

I had Palo Alto Speedometer rebuild my tach. I think it ran me $175. I later picked up a good used tach at a swap meet for $35.
The choice seems kinda obvious to me... --DD
