I'm sure a performance driving class would show me that I didn't have a clue how to really capitalize on this car's balance and response characteristics. I guess the most percievable and achievable performance upgrade has to be tires. Right now I'm running Pirelli p700. They're OK, especially for the price, but I used to have some Michelin XTG-Z tires that stuck like glue (uh, untill they let GO....), and some Dunlop M4-A2 (I think) that WERE glue. They never let go, but they were softer than rubber cement. Generally, tire technology just keeps gettin' better it seems, so by the time I get my next tires...

Tires, shock, agressive alignment, and a Triad muffler. The Triad muffler shifted the powerband down a bit and added some power (judging by the seat of my pants), other mods go to improved handling (obviously). Great autocross combo; I'm giving the Miatas something to think about in C stock at the SCCA events.
