Can the VW1218 F/I tester accurately test the calibration of the MPS?

i'm going out on a limb here and guess NO. i base my GUESS on the fact that the testers measure resistance so that's probably the resistance of the coils in the MPS. i would think a CO tester would be a better way to measure calibration as calibration determines mixture. maybe ask pbanders who knows alot about ECU testers

No, I am sure it doesn't test inductance just resistance of the MPS coils. My Janbo tester test just like that for faults in the MPS.
