Problem with distributor?
Finally, I got my '73 2.0 fired again. But I notice the distributor shakes a lot when cold. It's kind of like swirl motion. What's the cause? I checked few time and make sure the cap is fit and tight. Also, the idle speed is above normal (1500rpm). I checked the TPS and it didn't help. Any advice?

Take the cap off, can you move the dizzy shaft back and forth? If so the dizzy needs to be rebushed as its worn out. Have it rebuilt or find a rebuilt one.

If the whole distributor body is moving sounds like it's just not clamped down tight.
