Ignition Switch Replacement
I am trying to replace the ignition switch on my '75 914 1.8 and have been following the instructions on the Pelican Parts site. Have pulled both the turn signal and wiper switches am at the point where I remove the 2 screws holding the switch in per the instructions. But on mine there are no screws so I don't know how to pull the switch. Are the '75 and '76's different in how the switch is pulled? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

One of my neighbors helped me figure this out and thought I would post it since there were a lot of reads but no responses. I am assuming no one knew the answer. Anyhow, the '75 is very different. There are no screws, the assembly is held in place by 2 c clips on the steering column. Once removed there is another cap that comes off and then the whole thing slides out. When putting it back in, there is a spring loaded piece that must be depressed to get it to slide over the steering column.
