Heater Control Lever for Center Console
I am looking for the red lever used to get heat into the interior, but I have a center console and the lever won't fit in there. ANybody know where I can get one of these angled heater levers?

You could make one from scratch, bend your own (the chrome finish won't be happy with the "heat 'n' beat" treatment though!) or you can buy one used. For the last option, try our Parts For Sale BBS and the equivalent one on the 914club website.
You might be able to make a new gearshift-cover panel for your console that has the slot in the right location for the stock lever. But it may be too close to the side panel of the console to use... --DD

I definately like this better than bothering Dave so much...sorry dave. Anyway, I found one on Ebay and I am the high bidder for it. If I dont get it I'll contact you all. But I will try bending it, I was thinking about doing that earlier. I am just crossing my fingers hoping that the idiot that had the car before me didnt just say "hmmm...we dont need these, CLIP" when I look for the wiring connectors
