Engine keeps hesitating

i got my car out earlier this year after storing it all winter and the engine keeps hesitating. i thought maybe the gas went bad but now i'm not so sure. i added some fuel cleaner and filled the tank up. i haven't used all the gas yet but i was wondering what else it might be. since i got it out this year i put a new clutch kit in it, changed the pushrod tube o-rings, adjusted the valves, and i just put new spark plugs in it. it's a 1.7 engine, when i get on the gas going up thru the gears it seems to fall on it's face. any other ideas as to what may be causing this problem. please let me know,

Does it still have the d-jet system? If so, have you done any tests on it? Here's a troubleshooting guide you can use and if you need more detailed info, you can use Brad's page .
