FI signal tester, not for my 914
I'm going to help a friend who's truck has quit running, lack of an injection event. There is fuel pressure, and it will run on ether. My 914 experience says to check for grounds on the injector circuit, but if they are OK Is there something that can be plugged in where the injector is to check for signal from the ECU. I envision a flashing diode or something like that.

Check at your FLAPS for something called a "noid light". It's an LED that will light up when there is current flowing through it, with attachments that let you plug it into the injector connector.
You can buy the same thing on evil-bay for 3x the price, search for "fuel injection tester"... ![]() --DD

what dave said but additionally, the noid on evilbay is going for $16 then add shipping but AA sells it for about $12 then add shipping (but you'd be dealing with AA) . you can get sets from tool companies for $10-$50+ range.
