rebuilt injectors
I know its questioning our host, but has anyone used the rebuilt 2.0 injectors offered?
Are they reliable? Otherwise, can I use 75-76 2.0 injectors in a 73? One other thing arer 914's the only 2.0 type 4's with the sparkplugs relocated or are all 2.0 heads like that. Trying to get sparkplug wires and everything is cross refed to 2.0 bus and #1,2 wires are too short

There is an outfit, in Michigan I think, that apparently does a great job servicing injectors. About $12 each IIRC. However, there may be some that fail testing. I believe that the later injectors can be used successfully.
Yes, the 914 2.0 heads are unique unto themselves. Bus heads are completely different. Again, IIRC, 2.0 engine can use bug plug wires.

I sent mine to RC Engineering . It seemed like the car ran better after they were re-installed.

The TunaCan website has some great info on type IV engines and the differences between each.
See attached website: http://www.tunacan.net/t4/reference/cylhead.htm Vern |
