What is 'It' that you tried and didn't work Jared?
Did you try the 1.7L injectors on a 73-74 2.0L engine and they were lean (as would be expected) or did you try the 75-76 2.0L injectors on a 73-74 2.0L engine, and they were lean? |

Just how much hotter would the engine run with 1.7 injectors installed? Anyone have data?

On a 1911 motor I was getting A/F ratios of 16to1 at WOT which is way too lean.
I could get the partload setup for about 13.7to1 but it would go pretty crazy and not be a stable A/F ratio. Meaning with any throttle it would go lean and then try to settle back down. I was in a hurry setting up this car for a friend so I didn't do too much testing. I swapped in a set of 2.0l injectors and tuned it quickly. I would imagine that you would cook the heads if you kept the setup as 16to1 way too lean. This was with me adjusting the MPS as much as I possibly could.
