Post Rotor Rust again

I just had all the rotors turned. Wil I get any bad pitting/rust by the time the car is drivable in Feb?

Should I just take them off?

I know some rust is expected but I figured I would run it by you guys.

Thanks sorry to beat a dead horse!

just my opinion. if you are going to have the car on jack stands, doing body work, and motor work. and don't NEEd the rotors till feb. then take them off, put a light coat of oil in them, and cover them somewhere. then just use some brake cleaner and put them back on when you're ready for them.

Hello

If the car is off the ground remove the pads ( mark them ) and spray a thin layer protective wax on the discs. Its bit tricky on the backside.

Remove it previous use with some brake cleaner

Wax will not penetrate the fine structur kike oil and it is easyer visible while removing.

You also can remove the pads and leave it. There will by some fine rust after months. Can be whiped away with a fine sandpaper.

Grüsse
