Replacing front seal on my 2.0
does engine have to be pulled or just dropped on one side ? Thanks . Any input appreciated

Front seal, as in the one around the fan hub? I think you can do it without dropping the engine at all, if you're motivated. You'll have to take off the front engine tin (a couple of those fasteners will be a b*tch!) so you can remove the fan.
I think you'll wind up doing everything but the engine tin removal from underneath, as the firewall leans back toward the top and space gets tighter. You can use the fan mounting bolts as a "home-brew puller" (use big backing plates between the bolt ends and the case!) to remove the fan hub--after removing the hub bolt of course! And you'll have to do all of that work reaching around the fan shroud... It's probably simpler to drop the front of the engine far enough that you have a straight shot to pull the fan out. You can probably get away without having to drop it all the way out... --DD
