914 oxygen sensor placement

In what location do you place the oxygen sensor to get the best readings

After the collector to real all of the cylinders. Near the exhaust ports for accurate readings and quick warm-up. Ya pays yer money and ya takes yer chances.

That would mean I would have to place it in the muffler pipe. right?
