914/6 conversion--tach question

I am in the process of doing a 2.7RS conversion for my '75 914. I am closing in on finishing my rebuild, and am looking forward to the installation. I will need to replace my -4 tach with a -6 tach. I have located one from a '74 911. That's the correct tach for my conversion, right? Thanks all!

I also suggest you upgrade to a MSD while you're in there.

I'm almost done with the rebuild. We'll see how well my tranny-clinic rebuilt box holds up to 200 hp! All the best...
