Recent photos of the Monte Carlo GT, one of the Porsche factory built race cars we have been closely following by implementing the same factory installed modifications.
 After years of searching, I was able to find the same 911R driver's Scheel factory seat and Scheel co-pilot's seat for my 914-6 GT project. Here they are after having them re-upholstered. The new buttons are not exactly the same as the original Scheels and very difficult to source. If you know anyone that has those, please let me know, my email is ajserrano at msn dot com. Thanks!

I'll tell the story when I have more time, but for now, I'll just post the eBay auction from 2005...
  ...actually, it was pretty funny, that is, for Carl Thompson who laughed at me for a long while. He is a real prankster, has a great sense of humor

A handful of reproductions, and not ordinary, but with exceptional results!
When I commissioned Spraker to fab just a few of these parts using my NOS filler, I had no clue they were going to turn out this good. One of the reproductions actually went to a factory built GT so I feel good about the time and effort Mark spent in the specialized tooling, but definitely not a money maker... Several have made an attempt at accurately reproducing the GT Oil Filler Neck, but none have ever come this close. Take a look...          Here is one photo of the factory 914-6 GT oil filler neck in a very well known car, the #40 Le Mans Winning GT...
