Identifying Fuchs
I have a set of 4 15x7 Fuchs, I'm sure they are after market, but I would still like to find out what companies made replica Fuchs. The only markings are 15x7 and Max Wheel load 1200 lbs. This might be more suited to the 911 Forum? Pic below:

I'm not sure how many companies made replicas, but the real deal has a wolf stamped into the metal on the backside along with a part no.

It's a Fox-head logo, actually. Fuchs is German for Fox.
American Racing has made fake Fuchs. Not sure offhand who else has. --DD

Real fuchs are forged aluminum, reproductions are cast. They are not as strong as the real thing. I suggest you check these wheels for cracks and inspect them on a regular basis. They work well on the street but I would be careful running them on the track.

One has a small crack on the back, not severe but still there, they are for a 61 Beetle project that I'm working on. No track use!

The square edges at the end of the 5 spokes may mean that they are cast and not forged.

They weigh 15.5 lbs. They will work just fine for thier intent, the offset is 23 mm.
