another one of those might as well do it when it's off. repack the cv's and spring for new boots w/ the flange installed, don't forget the new gaskets.

Hi Kevin,

Thanks, I'm having my wrench-head friend do that for me.

good friend, it's really simple with them out of the car. esp if you have a set of those pointy tip pliers that open the c-clip. i read at one point here that the orientation of the cv is important during reasembly. i marked the outer face on mine and did one at a time to avoid confussion. i found atleast one loose bolt on each flange during removal. funny, a "click, click" noise i could never figure out went away after doing this procedure. cheap insurrance.

Hi Kevin,

Yes, a couple of mine were loose as well. I did mark the axles right, and left... outside, inside in case it made a difference.

Thanks, John www.ghiaspecialties.com

Hi Kevin,

My guestbook shows no new entries since Oct. Maybe something is wrong with it. Did you put in an entry?

Thanks, John www.ghiaspecialties.com

Hi Kevin,

I'll have the web master get it fixed. Thanks for the heads-up.
