another one of those might as well do it when it's off. repack the cv's and spring for new boots w/ the flange installed, don't forget the new gaskets.

good friend, it's really simple with them out of the car. esp if you have a set of those pointy tip pliers that open the c-clip. i read at one point here that the orientation of the cv is important during reasembly. i marked the outer face on mine and did one at a time to avoid confussion. i found atleast one loose bolt on each flange during removal. funny, a "click, click" noise i could never figure out went away after doing this procedure. cheap insurrance.
