window fuse

power window fuse blows after I use window 2 or 3 times.

I just called my mechanic, he thinks it's the motor because the fuse doesn't blow right away(i.e. not very first time I try to use window). He doesn't think it's the window switch, but does anybody here think he could be wrong to guess that?

I'm guessing a new motor is $$$$$$$$$$, so I was thinking of replacing the switch myself before I bring the car to my mechanic, but how do I tell first that's it's a bad switch by looking at it?

thanks

is it the right ampage fuse ?

does the window move smoothly or does it sound/look/feel like its struggling,

use some silicone lubricatnt on the runners and guides, first

is this for 1 or both windows, doubt both motors have gad it,

also try removing the buttons and cleaning the contacts

Some people are like Slinkies. Not really good for anything, but you
still can't help but smile when you see one tumble down the stairs.
