Didn't he buy a 951 after the blue-hair wadded up his 944?

Somebody go look under the hood of his car, I bet you'll find him.

hehehe....

He bought a 944. He was going to keep the old one and turn it into a track car. Maybe the track car project is taking up his time.

I was in the market for another 951 but if AfJuvat is not on the board 24 7 there is no reason for me to buy another 951.

I have been worried about him too. Thought he was on Vacation. I am going to take a ride to his house tomorrow to make sure all is OK.

Back from the dead

Hi Everyone!

Thanks for the concern. I have been lurking about from time to time as time allows Just to summarize whats been going on lately.

Computer crashed: Had to get that fixed. Got my servers and the "porsche library" back online for those that needed the information. Wound up losing most of my emails (damn hardware failures!)

944 wrecked: got a new one - been working to get that really "road worthy" Still a few "annoyances" to work out

Job: Survived the layoffs - however, my shift was changed - I now work 9AM - 6PM. This has severely reduced my time in the garage - pretty much only working there weekends now, the two big projects involve total rebuild of a 911 and a 930 (interior, transmission and engine) (shift change also resulted in a net loss of about $2000 per month in income, but I digress) Also had a severe impact in my "online" time.

Also as an added bonus, been spending a lot of time travelling I the course of my job upgrading networks. Colorado was nice, Austria was nicer, France left something to be desired.

If you have sent me an email lately, please resend it. I have lost most of my coorespondance over the last month and a half or so.

So to sum it all up, I have been waaay busier than I would like to be.

On the bright side, I am taking a few days off next week and playing catch up on the cars and emails.

AFJuvat
