As you might of heard, I have a problem with my rear toe adjustment and i think that one of my rear control arms might be bent. so, i found some used ones in good shape, and are being sent as we speak. They will be here tomorrow. Im doing the job this coming tuesday and wednesday. Does anybody out there have any diagrams or literature that they can send me to make this jobs easier, or has anybody done it before that can tell me how hard or easy this is? The only one that i suspect is bent is the passenger side.Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated... thank you

Justin, I've got an '86 with the aluminum arms. If it is the same, you remove the caliper and rotor, then the brake shoes. Then, somehow remove the handbrake clips/pins/ect which is somewhat difficult as the hub may still be in the way. Then unbolt the bolt and nut that holds the arm to the torque tube carrier. Then remove the bolts that hold the arm to the spring plate. Get the sway bar out and the eccentric for it.

Justin, don't follow the instructions on removal of the carrier, mostly what I wrote. If you take the the tube out, it is a lot of work and if you play around with the spring plates and height adjustments without knowing how they work, god help you since it is very difficult to put it back properly again.

Thanks Mark....I am going to adjust the ride height in the rear, with the eccentrics(i know how they work)I might as well do it after I get the new control arm on while I'm there, because after I get it done I'm taking it to get aligned.I don't want to have to get alighned again after I adjust the height later.I put h&r front drop springs on it about a month ago,now I just want to level the car.I hope this this fixes the toe adjustment problem I have.I f not it's going to go get aligned anyway and see what happens. Thanks again

Just don't take the soring plate off, I've already done it twice upgrading to 951S torsion bars and it is not fun! I barely understand the geometry of the splines.
