(i can see wires run to relay location) however i can't find wires for compressor? 3.do i need the entire a/c contol brain in the dash (lists for 400.00) or just the outer part which has the buttons (list foe less than 100.00)? any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated! |

Unless you are starting with an especially nice car I would not bother. The market value of 944's are too low to justify this kind of expense. Consider selling your car and buy another one with working A/C.
I bought my 1986 944na with working AC and a bad clutch for $3,000. The clutch parts were $380 from Vertex. |

dmac, i live in the south so it doesnt matter what the cost is it will be worth every penny. i'm doing a v8 conversion to the car so $7-800 extra for a/c is nothing compared to the $7000+ i'm putting into to car.(thats parts only-i'm doing all the labor) resale wont be an option, i'm holding on to this baby!
