Only where to wire it into. The factory alarms ground the coil wire and interupt the fuel pump-DME relay at the DME connector.

free alarm

I have a python that I just ripped out of my 951 this weekend. I do not have the instructions but it has a little red light on the console, a toggle switch under the dash to reset it, a screaming siren and a remote control (if I can find it). Beeps for proximity and if someone breaks in. There are limited wiring instructions on it (green to door light switch, red to power, etc). Free if you want it.

I don't know how the alarm instructions are, but regardless, it all depends on how well you know your car's electrical system. Even the best alarm instructions will tell you to hook up things like +12v switched (hook to a wire that is hot when the ignition is on) and hook another lead to the switched wires that go to your parking lights. Finding which wires on the car do these functions is up to you. You DO how to use a voltmeter, right? If not, it can probably still be done, but it will be pretty difficult.

has anyone else wired an alarm with starter kill? I found that there were 2 starter wires, and they were both very large, so large that i did not think a regular relay could handle the load, so i wired the starter kill relay to shut off the switched power to the DME (i.e. the car would crank, but not start)
